Evidence of Land

I love this story , if you have recently stared something new, the results are taking a while and you're feeling a bit...well...shit- this is the blog for you my love!

Have you heard the story of Christopher Columbus? If I'm honest I only heard this story the other day, I probably learnt it in school but that was like 25 years ago, and I was probably too busy looking at the fit boy in History class...

ANYWAY It's got such an important message that I wanted to share with you all- so basically Christopher Columbus - he was this dude that was sailing around the world looking for new land - as you do.

After weeks of endless ocean, a very pissed off crew, and dwindling faith, There was not even a nugget of land to be seen. Then one day Christopher saw birds flying in the sky! OMG it's a sign.... this meant that there had to be land nearby , then he saw debris in the water! sticks and logs and all that - a clear indication that land is near, but still no land...however Christopher and his crew KNEW that the birds and the debris were evidence...

then all of a sudden....

One sailor shouted the words that changed everything:“Tierra! Tierra!”Land! Land!

HOLY FUCK THEY FOUND LAND?!

It was the moment Christopher Columbus and his crew finally saw proof that their belief hadn’t been in vain. After sailing into the unknown, they finally found land!

But here’s the thing no one talks about:They had to believe first.They had to keep sailing when logic said turn back, there was probably many times when Chris thought to himself "What the actual fuck am I doing?" the fear would have been creeping in saying to him that he must turn back and go home!

Sound familiar?

We all have those “middle of the ocean” moments -the times when our dreams feel distant, when the manifestation hasn’t shown up yet, and everyone around us is asking,

“Are you sure this is going to work?”

That’s where the magic happens.

Because belief always comes before evidence.

You don’t get to see land before you commit to the journey. You see it because you committed to the journey.

My evidence of land story has been epic AF , a few years ago I knew I wanted to be more, do more and make a positive impact on the world - I wanted to be a Motivational speaker and a body confidence model. I did all the things to put myself out there, but after so much hard work grafting , unsuccessful auditions and castings I did start to loose faith and did the whole "maybe its not meant to be" story started playing in my mind

The story we alway bloody tell ourselves. luckily I didn't listen to this story and just kept going.

Thats when I saw the evidence! the modelling Jobs started to flood in , I started to meet people in the industry who recommended me to others, networking opportunities, most recently I have been hosting the most INCREDIBLE events, so bloody incredible that people in the audience have been coming up after to say how much I have inspired them?! how cool is that!

My podcast has started to blow up, one listener even said I transformed their life?! next week I am being a guest on an industry leaders podcast! and so on....I KNOW the land is close and I cannot wait to walk my size 9s across that sexy luscious land.
